While looking into search patterns I stumbled upon the fact that the parents to be or others with an interest in baby names are divided into large groups. Nothing special about the fact that people belonging to different groups, but it shows a trend that has gained strength for 5-10 years. On the one hand we have parents looking for phrases like "Top 100 baby names," "top ten baby names," "popular baby names" etc. All these phrases have in common that the user is to looking for what everyone is naming their baby. Now do not misunderstand. . . There is absolutely nothing wrong with calling your baby a name commonly used. There may be many reasons for wanting the name of your little boy or girl of the same name that most other children. One reason could be that you want the baby to be socially accepted when he or she grows and begins to play with other children.Another reason would be that it might be easier for the baby to get appointed to a job interview and maybe even get the job. It can be a family tradition to name a baby name that ranks number 1 in the previous year. There may be many reasons for naming a baby after the majority of babies born in this period. This is not the part that caught my attention. What caught my attention is that the other side there is a large group of parents seeking similar exact opposite. They are looking for terms like "baby names unusual" odd baby names, "the unique baby names," etc. Once more reason to want a common name may be many and I can only guess what they might be, but what is happening in society, I think one of the most obvious reasons are: You want to show the outside world that your baby is something special. Giving your child a name that few people wear when you did the special. They now have a name that will (probably) be easier for others to remember due to the fact they have not heard the name before.A second reason may be that it has become a trend in the child the name you a unique name. Over the years this trend has been increasing and, as with the common name of a special name can now apply for status as well. Why people are divided into these categories does not know. It is of course always the third category on the left and are baby names to find neutral. It is difficult to say anything specific about these search patterns, but the fact that they exist and there is nothing right or wrong, no matter which category you might fall.
