I am only 11. 5 weeks of pregnancy, but I'm already itching to buy something for the baby. What do you recommend buying pieces first? This is my first pregnancy, so I'm really not sure where to start. I was thinking of buying the first nursery furniture, or perhaps the stroller? I feel like I should wait longer, but to buy something would feel good. I would also like some recommendations on brands for babies, and the best places to buy things for the best deals. I thought to buy a few pieces on craigslist. From what I can say … Get the car seat first, can not get the baby home until you have one of these. Craigs list is great for toys and things, but I would not buy anything that might jeopardize the safety of my baby, like a car seat or even a nursery. A small crack in a car seat or lock manger to be old or roughly used, may mean it does not work correctly. But a stroller, a play mat, even an Exersaucer, Craigslist is great for that. I bought one for my daughter Exersaucer $ 30 instead of 95 because I found it on craigs. Washed and disinfected it to death, and it was good to go. A play mat is large, such as gymnasiums Fisher Price. . My daughter loved it since day one. Bouncer seat. A swing, do one trip, they are shit, they do not hold much weight, are not as robust, and the tip easily once the baby starts to move more, a bath and a baby sling infant sponge baths makes a breeze.
