My hamster just amaze me with the babies yesterday and I accidentally touched because I do not know, she had them. I went back there today to see if she had eaten and shes just a big Bundel the corner of the cage. I thought I saw a baby under her but idk if I really did or not. Is it possible I could see if she can not touch or disturb. I was pleased to learn … Hmm, Mother Hammies eat babies. Keep an eye on her, if she eats babies, its a start of a whistle or a loud clap. Call a veterinarian about this.

without opening the door stick a piece of food out of the bar to the inside of the cage and luwer her away from the babies then u coudl life up soem bedding and look for them. . . BE CAREFUL! dont let the mom see or dont touch her.
its best not to just leave them for a while. . best of luck hope they dont die
